Dr. Sotirios G. Tsioumas graduated from the Medical School of the University of Modena in Northern Italy (1998). His ophthalmology training was completed when he obtained his specialization at the “Agios Savvas” Oncology Hospital in the Oculoplastic Department, where he gained valuable experience in a large number of surgeries, such as restoration of eyelid conditions, lacrimal apparatus and orbital diseases, blepharoplasty, and cataract surgery using the phacoemulsification method, among others.

As an Ophthalmic Surgeon, he evolved and specialized in non-surgical procedures, particularly in blepharoplasty, needle shaping for wrinkle filling and face–body reshaping, non-invasive lipolysis, with a strong emphasis on Aesthetic Medicine and Non-Invasive Surgery.

In 2003, he completed the first university Master’s degree in Aesthetic Medicine in Europe at the State University “Tor Vergata” in Rome. Seeking a holistic approach to human well-being, he obtained a degree in iridology and bioresonance through his studies at the N.H.S., as well as the European acupuncture diploma (ICMART), later becoming Vice President of the World Chinese and Complementary Medicine.

He is a member of the Athens Medical Association, the Hellenic Ophthalmological Society, the Hellenic and Italian Oculoplastic Societies, the Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine (A.I.M.E.), and the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the Italian Society of Aesthetic Medicine and Non-Invasive Surgery (S.I.M.E.C.N.A.).

Guided by knowledge, he became Founder and President of the Hellenic Society of Aesthetic Medicine and Non-Invasive Surgery in Greece, contributing to the spread of his expertise in Greece and abroad, under the distinctive title S.A.M.N.A.S.

In 2014, he became a Professor of Aesthetic Medicine at the University of Camerino, Italy, and in 2019, also a Professor of Aesthetic Medicine at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome.

He is a global trainer in Aesthetic Medicine and Non-Invasive Surgery, educating doctors across all continents and in more than 15 countries. He is a speaker at major international congresses in Aesthetic Medicine and Anti-Aging, such as IMCAS, Monaco, FACE, and CCR, and conducts workshops at Venus Medicine Clinic.

He has completed a Fellowship in Advanced Photorefractive Surgery for laser procedures correcting refractive errors. His continuous scientific drive to discover new methods in his field led him to Brussels, where, in the Anatomy Hall of the State University of Medicine, he participated in specialized courses on medical facial rejuvenation with new techniques in blepharoplasty, mini lifting, lipofilling, wrinkle lifting, and, more broadly, in Aesthetic Medicine.

His commitment to continuous medical advancement has led him to become a Professor at the Universities of Camerino, Torino, and Tor Vergata in Italy. He delivers lectures both in Greece and abroad, and has authored books in his field, aiming to contribute to the progress of Medical Science. His knowledge base is constantly expanding, always with the goal of promoting human health.
